Just curious, do any of you guys have any special ways to memorize all of the different pronunciations of Kanji?

I'm just so stumped. One character has so many different sounds that it could make. I want to learn how to read Japanese so badly, but when I try to read a sentence that has Kanji in it, I don't know which sound correlates with it.. I hope I'm making sense here.

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

I find it easier to learn the the different pronunciations of a Kanji by learning different words that contain alternative pronounciation. Does that make sense. So you are expanding your Kanji and your vocabulary at the same time and building a stronger association to each.

For example, learning the Kanji 日, a good word to learn how read and pronounce would be 日曜日, this word alone shows two different readings of the same kanji.

I hope this make senses, it's harder to explain that I thought.

That helped lots! Thank you, I'll be sure to try that.
