Hey, guys!
I found a really neat site, and I thought I'd share it with you guys!
It's lang-8.com !

You type anything you want in the language that you are studying, and then native speakers of that language can correct it for you! It really helps and is a fun way to learn from your mistakes. Especially since you can talk about anything and everything, as well as see what other peoples' interests are and how they feel about it!

Yes, but as far as I've seen, what you can get back without paying is rather limited. An alternative site that does the same thing, livemocha.com, lets you earn "coins" for the site that lets you do - at least as far as I've seen - anything a paying member can do, you just need to review other people's work in your native language - or a language you're learning - to do it.

Hi guys . i'm already a member and found it really practical . Besides you will be able to make your own sentence after a while , i recommend you to have a look .

I was on lang-8 for a long time and spent a great deal of time as the #1 on their ranking for both Japanese and Mandarin. (I still don't understand how their point system worked.) However, their site is really good and the only thing that paying for it really provides is the ability to cosmetically customize things and 2 premium posts will always be featured first before anyone else. If you put in the work to help people with their writing, in turn you'll get a lot of corrections and they'll be quick. I could post an article and go to sleep, wake up six hours later and there would be 50-100 corrections posted. So, in summation, enjoy the site, I know I did. I ended up having to ditch it though, because I was spending far more time on it than studying. m(_ _)m

Hi saylem1000 . that's so great , you must now be quite familiar with the site .
about the scores i can say since a member put down his script on the site , if nobody touch the writing , the score will increase by 1 or 2 points . i've also seen new members who have set down a piece of writing then the score was
multiplied by 10 points just for 1 or 2 days .On the whole i think that's a great
site because i'am sure that my sentence is directly corrected by native speakers .
