  I really need to bookmark where I've written this before... just spent a few minutes but couldn't find the post...
  
  The base EXP depends on the level of the question:
  
  EXP per Vocabulary question...
  ・lv1 = 6 EXP
  ・lv2 = 7 EXP
  ・lv3 = 8 EXP
  ・lv4 = 9 EXP
  ・lv5 = 10 EXP
  ・lv6 = 11 EXP
  
  EXP per Kanji question...
  ・lv1 = 7 EXP
  ・lv2 = 8 EXP
  ・lv3 = 9 EXP
  ・lv4 = 10 EXP
  ・lv5 = 11 EXP
  ・lv6 = 12 EXP
  
  The combo bonus is as follows:
  ・1-19 = x1 (= no EXP bonus)
  ・20-29 = x2
  ・30-39 = x3
  ・40-49 = x4
  ・50-59 = x5
  ・60-69 = x6
  ・70-79 = x7
  ・80-89 = x8
  ・90-99 = x9
  ・100+ = x10
  
  So if your combo is currently "98 combo" and then you answer a level 6 kanji question correctly, you will get 108 EXP (12 base EXP, x9 EXP bonus from combo for answering the 99th question in a row correctly).
  
  If you then answer another level 6 kanji question correctly, you will get 120 EXP (12 base EXP, x10 EXP bonus from combo for answering the 100th question in a row correctly).
  
  x10 is the highest the combo EXP bonus goes up to, so will still be x10 even if you are on 9000 combo.
  
  HOWEVER, there is a limit for each question, where you can only earn EXP on the first 29 times answering it. When you see a question which says you've answered it 29 times correct, if you answer it correct this time, then you will get given "0 EXP" because it's the 30th time you've answered it. And you will never earn EXP on this question again.
  
  The number of times you've answered a question correct and incorrect is shared between Practice and Lessons. So if you've answered it correctly 20 times in Lessons and answered it correctly 9 times using Practice, then the from the next time onwards you will always get given 0 EXP for answering this question correctly in Lessons or Practice.
  
  For referrence:
  
  Readings = 7 EXP per question (29 correct answer limit per question).
  Notes = 1 EXP per question (29 correct answer limit per question).
  Kana tests = 1 EXP per question (29 correct answer limit per question?)

  If you look at my "lessons" section on my profile, I can't earn any EXP on any question in the lessons I've completed (all the questions are higher than 29 times correct in those lessons)!
  
  I can only earn EXP from answering level 5 and 6 kanji questions and level 5 vocabulary questions. These are getting close to running out of EXP too... ;_;

  I calculated that it is now very likely 100% impossible to reach the 10 million EXP that Medyrius has! So Medyrius is now rank 1 forever unless the 29 answer limit gets adjusted...
