- !! And you've been a member on JCJP for 4 years! Although this layout of the site has only been around for 13 months, but that's still a long time. o.O
Are you using a mobile device or just have a small screen on your PC/laptop?
I often wonder how many people on mobile devices (/small screens) know about the left and right side bars...
Obviously most people find the left side bar, otherwise they wouldn't be able to navigate the site at all, but I'm not sure if people think to check the right side bar for each different section of the site.
However, so many people seem to have a lot of trouble finding the hiragana and katakana lessons, which are on the right side bar on the lessons page.
And so many people have trouble figuring out how to edit their profile picture, which is also on the right side bar (on their profile page).
And then there's the issue where you can't show/hide the side bars on Firefox and Internet Explorer. Currently the show/hide buttons have only been designed to work for Chrome, Opera, Safari. ^^;May 15, 2015 at 11:49pm - yh most days i do my practice on my mobile to be fair. generally only use the pc when it's quiet at work ^-^ hehe.
I do click the side bar but usually to change the practice settings when on my phone. I'm sure I've just been highly unobservant these 13 months lolMay 16, 2015 at 12:04am - Hmm. That kind of makes sense.
The Practice "settings" button is not on the side bar. When you click "settings" it temporarily shows the side bar, but when you save settings it hides the side bar again. You wouldn't really see the online user list doing this, since the settings pop up covers it up.
I just realised the "settings" button won't even work at all on Firefox or Internet Explorer if you are on mobile view layout, because it is unable to make the right side bar appear... o.OMay 16, 2015 at 12:13am
