  not sure where did you get the idea it's for kids :p
  shame I can't post pic in reply but there is something more revealing elsewhere in manga - imprisoned Erza with only her strategic places slightly covered, and I can't remember exactly but I think Natsu too, was butt naked.
  surely you can google it, there was a minor "uproar" about it as in anime she was all covered.

  The equivalent would be comic books. Teens can buy comics in the States and there are... definitely racy things in them. Again, cater to the crowd.
