Could someone change Fish/さかな to Fish (noun)/さかな? Because there is Fish (verb) as in "I'm going out to fish" and Fish (noun) as in "I'm going to cook fish". I don't know if the Japanese have a word for "fish (verb)" so maybe that is why Fish doesn't say (noun)... Just a thought.

fish (noun) = 魚 (さかな)
fish (verb - i.e. "angling") = 釣る (つる)
fishing (noun) = 魚釣り (魚釣り)
私は魚釣りに行っています。 "I'm going fishing."- Oops, meant to say 魚釣り (さかなつり), but accidentally converted the kana.
Okay. Now back to Oblivion... *sigh*- Lol, sorry. I wasn't really paying attention earlier. I've never noticed a problem with it saying just "fish" before, but I see your point.
魚 is listed on here as "fish";
釣り is listed on here as "fishing".
Both of these are nouns anyway though. JCJP doesn't have the verb 釣る. I can see that if the question is "fish", and it had both 魚 and 釣り in the answer choices, that it would be easy to just click whichever one of those answers you happen to see first. I'm not sure how they could be worded differently though, since adding "(noun)" wouldn't help. - Hmm... I have seen a similar problem where someone screenshotted a picture of the practice page where they had a word (English) and two of the same answers (in Japanese) and they could actually get it wrong.

The problem is that some answers have been given identical translations to others:
危ない and 危険な = "dangerous"
科学 and 学術 = "science"
建物 and ビル = "building"
胃 and お腹 = "stomach"
図書室 and 図書館 = "library"
死ぬ and 亡くなる = "die"
and a few others. - Although you did say English question and two of the same Japanese answers, which I guess that is slightly different but it is a similar principle.
Since the three incorrect items in the answer choices list are picked at random from among all the other questions, there should be nothing to stop it listing one of these identically translated answers.
There is a much smaller chance of this happening though, because there are less of these completely identical Japanese vocabulary. I'm not sure I've ever had a question in English with two identical Japanese answers yet, and can't remember ever seeing a screenshot of this happening. - Huh. Maybe I'm going mad then :P
