So this the first time I've come across this: "初めまして、突然矢礼します。もし宜しけれ"

”突然矢” I took to mean something like "super abrupt" due to the inclusion of 矢? Or am I looking at this all wrong and it's really common?

Shouldn't it be 失 (miss) instead of 矢 (arrow), as 失礼します ?

I like that interesting bit on the end though「もし宜しけれ」. I haven't come across that before but it sounds very polite? ^^

I was going crazy trying to see when I posted this.....O.9

It's definitely meant to be 失礼します. And I think it should be continuing? Like, もし宜しければ sounds fine, but as it's written, it's missing something, or perhaps slang.

@松村謙治, Haha. I'm not sure if Minty will understand what you meant by saying that though. :D

@Arachkid, Yeah. I was surprised to see the 已然形 base used on its own without ば. But yeah, I guess there must be more that wasn't quoted.

I was even more intrigued at first, because initially I thought it looked like the 命令形. However, 已然形 and 命令形 aren't identical for adjectives unlike how they are with godan verbs. Would have been very interesting for that adjective to be able to be used as an imperative! :D

LOL, I'm glad it wasn't just me that thought it was weird, that's the first time I've seen a spelling mistake by a native XD

Also yes as you guys noted it was just a small part of a much longer message hence the realis form base.

Well, it's a LOT easier to make a typo in Japanese given the common way to enter words is to type in how they sound, hit space, and then more than likely figure "that was the right one" and move on. It isn't always the most obvious that comes up.
