- Awesome that you can get exp for 30+ questions.
Is there a reason that questions under the exp limit(say a question with 2 correct answers) only awards the answering exp and not the repetition points as well?December 3, 2015 at 7:20pm - This site will be even better.
Is beeant a teacher or something? He is always kind and careful for his users, it reminds me of a teacher, haha.December 3, 2015 at 8:04pm - @MintyHippo
Sorry for my late response! If I understand your question right, I think you are wondering why the ★ points is not increased? It is because you can only increase/upgrade the ★ point after the oblivion due date / when the vocabulary/kanji is in the oblivion list. If you mouse over the ★ points, you can see how many days until you can upgrade the ★ point.
@Darwo
I'm a programmer/developer, that's how a programmer needs to be I guess. All JapaneseClass.jp users have been nice and kind too. ^^December 5, 2015 at 2:14pm - Not quite.
As an Example for a level 7 question you get 120 exp. For a SRS answer you get 1-7 points. So I was wondering why when you answer a question you don't get the normal exp + the SRS.
Just seems it's not standard to give SRS points for only maxed questions. Unless the point, where you should only practice SRS after you've maxed it?
December 5, 2015 at 4:05pm - I think when you answer a question correctly you do get both EXP and ★ points. You will increase ★ points only if the item has passed the oblivion date though, otherwise you will only get exp points.
I don't really understand the second paragraph.. Sorry >.< but you don't need to max the question to get ★ point.December 6, 2015 at 4:00am - @Beeant (& Minty), I think I've figured out where the confusion is.
Because we started getting 1 EXP for 30+ times answered correct questions only a few days before the SRS system was introduced, I think Minty thought that the SRS ★ value gives you extra EXP. From the fact that Minty posted his post after the SRS system was introduced, it seems likely that he probably thought 1★ = +1 EXP, 2★ = +2 EXP, etc.
The new 1 EXP on 30+ times answered correct questions is a complete coincidence unrelated to the SRS system. If you had been away for the few days between the implementation of this and the implementation of the SRS system, then Minty's conclusion would be a pretty logical one to come up with. ^^
@Minty, The SRS system was implemented 3 days ago, and was announced by Beeant somewhere down in the comments of this post:

The new change for EXP given for 30+ correct answers (changed from 0 EXP to 1 EXP) was implemented 8 days ago. Kekkou posted about it 2 days later (3 days before the SRS system was implemented) here:
