Wow. That's higher than I've ever managed in 4 years (to the day) of being on this site, and you've only been here 4 months. XD
I have been kinda immersed lately so I learn faster.- I've lost my combo by answering the vocabulary question "1980's" wrong before—a question where only one of the answers has the text "1980" in it (1980年代)...
It's easy to slip with the mouse or accidentally randomly press a mouse button. And if you're trying to answer extremely fast in order to earn a high score, sooner or later you're going to answer a question purely by misreading the English text without it having anything to do with Japanese ability on that question.
How Medyrius managed 100,000 questions in one long combo without any accidents is mind-boggling (although certainly not impossible either). On top of having decent knowledge, there are many skills required to be able to manage a high combo. XD - The key is to relax. No one is rushing you so take your time and answer the questions (directed to myself lol).
I often practice late on the night so i constantly sleep while answering and lose my combos every time for clicking unintentionally.- That way's no fun though! I nearly always put on some fast loud music and answer like crazy. I like to use Practice in a similar manner to playing Osu or Stepmania or something like that—as if I have to click keeping up with the beat of the music. :P
Been a while since I tried doing Practice without using my typing mod. Put on some loud music and started clicking away. Only managed 161 questions in a row before I messed up, but it only too me about 8 minutes to get that far.
荷物, I clicked "library room"... I only looked at the first letter of the answer before clicking it. Failed at reading English. XD- I deactivate the kana so that I see only Kanji. I learn better this way.
- Yeah. I do that too. Can read the questions/answers much quicker once you learn to be able to read the kanji rather than having to spend time looking at both the kanji and furigana for every question.
I learned all the 常用 kanji by their meanings. The only downside to having kana turned off is that you can forget or never even learn what the readings are for some questions. Or at least that's what happened to me for a long time, since I didn't use the Lessons feature very often. I just new what the combinations of kanji meanings meant and could figure out the answer, without ever looking up some of the readings. Then finding out like a year later that the reading for a question I've answered 50 times is completely different to what I always assumed it was. :D - Btw. I managed to get 1000 combo on my other account since that last post, answering 1000 questions in 50 minutes (average of 1 question every 3 seconds), but there were so many times I nearly lost my combo. :D

http://prntscr.com/c8oopy- Ah yes, 幸せ means only "happy" but 嬉しい can mean glad as well. Its a hasty mistake all right but it can't be helped if both of them appear at the same time. Something similar happened to with other words but I don't remember which.
- That problem could be avoided if the English text for 幸せ was changed from "happy" to something like "happiness, happy".
幸せ can be used as either a noun or an adjective.
嬉しい is purely an adjective.
"happiness" in the answer would therefore rule it out from being a possible correct choice for 嬉しい. - It happens to a lot of words and even readings, it can make the learning difficult to someone that isn't familiar to Japanese. I often got caught in those traps.
