How do you guys study on here? I want some tips to remember words faster and learn faster as well. Also trying to keep words in my long term memory faster as well. What's your study like?

    also what does it mean when it says, it,that(near listener) for kore/kono and other words?

    Use the Practice section to get words into your long term memory. It focuses on questions you haven't answered for a while and questions you've answered wrong before.

    You want to learn grammar elsewhere too, or you will have a harder time trying to make sense of the words you're learning on here. But for that other question, this link does an okay job of explaining it:

    As for the second question これ・この the (near listener) is just to help with which of the 3 locations it can be. For example in English we have "this", "that" and "there". Japanese has a similar thing where they have a different word for where "that" is located.
