Hey, do Japanese write Kanji or kana differently? Sometimes, the kanji and kana I write is different from other Japanese Natives, and sometimes, it looks the same as others. Is that ok.

Oh and btw, I've always wondered what your profile pic is of, it looks like a pokemon........

Somehow, even though this post was actually written on my feed, I missed this question and only saw that other one. Good thing Minty replied and I got a second notification or I might never have noticed it! :P

Again, I'm not the best person to ask. For a start I rarely ever do any writing of kanji by hand. Other users on this site enjoy doing that and think it is worthwhile, and it is a skill that needs to be learnt and probably benefits learning to distinguish and remember kanji, but I greatly dislike writing on paper even for English -- because my handwriting sucks and isn't fun trying to keep it looking tidy.

Anyway, the following page on this excellent website might be helpful enough to answer your question:

And... "it looks like a pokemon"?! No way!!! XD

Moogles are a species in Final Fantasy that appear in nearly every game in the series. Mog is the name of one of the moogles in Final Fantasy VI and is an actual playable party member in that game. Final Fantasy VI is my favourite game (joint with FFVII anyway). I even own an original Japanese cartridge of FFVI for my region modded SNES console (since it was never released here in the UK), which is fun challenge to play since it is heavy in Japanese text. ^^
