Genki Elite Master Race reporting in. I have hard copies, but also picked up the pdfs on The Pirate Bay before Sweden took them down.
Look yourself, however, if you cannot find them, I can hook you up.
Or use tobira like a poser. Either or.

What was it that you did not like about Japanese For Busy People? It didn't seem too bad when just I checked it out online.

I used "Japanese for Beginners" by Gakken, first published in 1976, but my copy is a later edition purchased in Tokyo in 1986 for 2,000円. It is nice and straight to the point, without dawdling with boring stuff, however the Japanese is written in romaji only (I think romaji perfectly fine for basic grammar books though). I really like the layout and simple presentation used in the book. It is easy to read and teaches a lot of important basic grammar.

I don't know how easy it would be to find that book though, but it's the only physical book for Japanese grammar that I've used properly, and I still use it.

There are other books by them which are a bit different, but they look pretty decent too. "Japanese for Everyone" is very easy to find on Google and it looks like it's similar but with more content and uses kana alongside romaji. However I still prefer the simple efficient book I already own. ^^

Japanese for busy people is what I use. I've also heard mina no nihongo is good.
