  I never had any wisdom teeth out, but it sounds ridiculously painful and awkward to remove those.
  
  I've never understood why so many people have to have their wisdom teeth removed...
  
  In preparation for having braces when I was 13, I had to have four premolar teeth taken out (the back premolar from each side, both top and bottom). A couple of years later, my brace was taken out and all the gaps had pretty much disappeared.
  
  Now, after that, all four of my wisdom teeth came through with lots of room--barely even felt them coming through at all. All four were fully grown by the time I was 18-19, and now I don't need any of them removed because I have enough room in my mouth (probably due to having those premolars removed years earlier). Saved a lot of trouble having it done that way. ^^
