"that's what u think it is"?
Looks to me like three rows of teeth--or possibly, the mouth of a monster containing an unneccessarily vicious looking dental layout... but that's probably just my crazy imagination! :D
(That said, I really don't know what it actually is...)June 8, 2015 at 1:57am

kore wa nan desuka

terry use sore, not kore...June 8, 2015 at 1:04pm
lol it can be kore as well sore is like is, but really kore wa nan desuka means what is that and sore wa nan desuka means what is this so you can say it either way.
June 8, 2015 at 1:07pm
Kore means "this", as in something close to the speaker. Sore is "that", which is something further away from the speaker. You cannot use both in the same circumstance, any more than you should be using this and/or that at the same time.June 8, 2015 at 1:13pm
omg I am sorry I had to relook at things yes kore means this so kore wa nan desuka what is this sore wa nan desuka what is this yes you can still use the asking the same question I was asking, but yes kore means this are/ano means thatJune 8, 2015 at 1:25pm
sorry my keypad is messed up sore wa nan desuka what is that I meanJune 8, 2015 at 1:27pm
but anyway my mistake you make them sometimes you guys have a good night and enjoy learning also relooking over things as well sore means it.June 8, 2015 at 1:35pm
You cannot use sore and kore interchangeably. If there is one thing you take away from this, please make it that before you make it a part of your learning that is absolutely wrong.June 8, 2015 at 1:39pm
well I never use sore wa I always use kore wa nan desuka as asking a question of what something is because from what I learned on Rosetta Stone sore means it so sore wa akai desu it is red because are/ano means that, but thankyou
June 8, 2015 at 1:46pm
your right you can't use them interchangeably, but I use kore wa nan desuka as asking a question of what something is kore wa nan desuka means what is this so me asking him because of the picture kore wa nan desuka was not wrong, but no you were right you can't use them interchangeably.June 8, 2015 at 1:54pm
No worries, but when referring to something that is closer to the other person you are speaking to, as is definitely the case with the picture of Kenji's dango - unless you somehow happened to be closer to them than HE is - you would use "sore" or "that".June 8, 2015 at 1:58pm
