村田英雄さん育ての親 西川幸男氏死去

日本屈指の老舗芸能事務所、新栄プロダクション会長の西川幸男（にしかわ・ゆきお）さんが２６日午前５時２分、間質性肺炎のため死去した。８７歳だった。西川さんは故村田英雄さん（享年７３）と「王将」を大ヒットさせ、北島三郎、大月みやこ、細川たかしら数々の歌手を育てた。
