Google、自動運転車両のプロトタイプ公開、2人乗りでハンドルなし

米Googleは現地時間2014年5月28日、同社が開発した自動運転車両のプロトタイプを公開した。ハンドルもアクセルもブレーキもなく、ソフトウエアとセンサーで自律走行する。 センサーが周囲360度を確認し、フットボール競技場2つ以上先の距離にある物体を検知する。
