Is anyone interested in a Japanese learning chat group for JapaneseClass users?
I've noticed recently that there have been a few people asking for chat partners or already existing chat groups to practice Japanese. It's true that there's a chat on this site (in the left side bar, if you hadn't notice) but it's not the most organised thing and you'd struggle to get a response right away since there is no indication to show that someone is talking there unless you check it yourself every once in a while.
So, I was interested to know if there are enough people interested for me to bother creating a Discord server or something. I personally recommend Discord since it's free and easy to get into. But if you have any better alternatives, I'll listen.

We actually already have at least two Discord groups. :P
Never seen them and nobody ever mentioned them in the last half a year. Since it's not somewhere visible, I bet it's pretty deserted in there. Talking about deserted, these two are not:

The rest are somewhat deserted and don't seem that interesting. I was chatting with someone for a bit in 日本語を勉強しましょう just now and they seem like nice people.
how about using line chat group ?
you know, i didn't use discord recently hahaha- Not liking Line much from what I've seen. And I'm thinking about giving up on the idea since I already found a couple of well populated Discord servers dedicated to learning Japanese.
