医療機器の認証、医薬品と分離へ…開発を後押し

厚生労働省は６日、医薬品と一本化している医療機器の開発規制を分離し、新たな基準を設ける方針を決めた。 現在、医療機器メーカーが新製品を開発する際には、医薬品開発と同様に厳格な認証の取得が必要とされ、「開発に時間がかかりすぎる」との指摘が出ていた。
