JCJP Lesson Unique Kanji Count

I had planned to do this a long time ago, and after a recent post I decided to finally get around to it. These stats are based on the lessons as they were 7 months ago. As no new lessons have been added yet, these figures should be reasonably accurate, although calculating this was a pretty complicated process... ^^;

The jouyou and jinmeiyou totals are based on the newest revisions of the lists, the November 2010 revisions.
The first number = how many of these kanji are seen in all the lessons.
The number in square brackets [] = how many of these kanji are specifically taught in the 'kanji' lessons.

- Elementary school kanji -
Grade 1: 80 [80] / 80
Grade 2: 158 [136] / 160
Grade 3: 200 [200] / 200
Grade 4: 160 [88] / 200
Grade 5: 146 [57] / 185
Grade 6: 103 [29] / 181
Total = 847 [590] / 1006

- Secondary school kanji -
Total = 294 [25] / 1130

Jouyou kanji = 1141 [615] / 2136
Jinmeiyou kanji = 30 [0] / 861
Jouyou + Jinmeiyou = 1171 [615] / 2997

Hyougai kanji = 24 [0]
(Total unique kanji in JCJP lessons = 1195 [615])

    I wish there was a way to bookmark comments now. This will be really useful whenever I want to work with other sources.

    Thanks. You CAN actually bookmark specific feeds, although it definitely isn't very obvious how. I remembered to post this in the forum though, so it's not going to fall into the abyss after a couple of days. :P

    To find out the specific address for this or any other feed, hover over the "xx days ago" datestamp (next to the "Comments (xx)" link used for show/hide comments). ^^

    Here's the link to this current feed, which happens to be a forum thread anyway:

    Okay, here's my attempt at a breakdown by JLPT level. There doesn't seem to be any exact lists of JLPT kanji anywhere, atleast not up-to-date. The JLPT lists I've used are from an offline Japanese dictionary program I have, which are about the same as the lists posted here:
    http://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/16i4fn/i_made_some_jlpt_n5_n1_and_j%C5%8Dy%C5%8D_kanji_study_lists/

    N5 = 103 [103] / 103
    N4 = 180 [171] / 181
    N3 = 321 [199] / 341
    N2 = 271 [111] / 400
    N1 = 248 [31] / 1205

    Non-JLPT = 72 [0]
